ABRAR ARSHAD M.D.

Dr. Arshad is a Pediatric Neurologist in Lake County/McHenry County, Illinois and has been practicing in the suburbs of Chicago for over 20 years. Prior to moving to Chicagoland, he worked in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Peoria, Illinois, and Minneapolis, Minnesota. He completed his fellowship in Pediatric Neurology with special competency at the University of Minnesota, in one of the world’s leading departments for Pediatrics and Pediatric Neurology. He did his internship and residency in Pediatrics at Michigan State University's Sparrow Hospital in Lansing Michigan. Dr. Arshad founded The Northwest Pediatric Neurology and Child Development Clinic in 2000
His special interests include treating children with behavioral neurology,  cerebral palsy, seizure disorders like epilepsy, encephalopathy, headaches, migraines, ADHD, Autism, Tic Disorder, and Tourette Syndrome. 
Dr. Arshad sees patients in Vernon Hills, Algonquin, and Joliet. He is very accessible to those living in many of the Chicago suburbs, including but not limited to Vernon Hills, Libertyville, Lake Forest, Highland Park, Mundelein, Mettawa, Barrington, Lake in the Hills, North Chicago, Waukegan, and Joliet. His Vernon Hills practice is only 45 minutes from downtown Chicago. 
In his free time, he enjoys watching cricket and basketball. Dr. Abrar Arshad resides in the northwest suburbs of Chicago along with his wife and their daughter.
